Mood: Confused and Curious
Setting: The shore of the unnamed beach. The sand is wets and sticks to your clothes. Up ahead you can see palm trees and a wall of rocks but who thinks of that when water is rushing from your lungs.
Such a brutal light. It burned his eyes searing through his lids but he didn't want to move. He was happily being asleep. Who cared about air if he could stay enveloped like this? He didn't need anything. He didn't want anything. He didn't want to remember anything but the light just kept on getting closer. He could only growl to himself which only turned into bubbled in the water.
As the lone body drifted closer to shore its mouth broke the surface. There were no gasps as its back grazed the sand. It just stared up almost glaring at the sun with glazed over eyes. Wave after wave pushed the body farther and farther out of the water until it could push it no more. For a few moments it just laid there. There was no movement from the soaked being but as a breeze came in a bit of life appeared as the body slowly flipped its self over. Water poured out of his mouth silently as he just stared out into the beach. He didn't want to be awake. He wanted to stay where no one could find him.
Suddenly life kicked his body on as his eyes widened. An urge for air over took his thoughts as he body arched off the ground and water was violently expelled from his body. The hands that were once at his sides were now planted on the wet sand stabilizing his body though each cough. ".....Haaahaha~" He couldn't help but laugh once his body stopped its little fit. His body flopped over on its side.
He didn't want to be awake. Before he was....he was...he was nothing. It felt peaceful. Now, he was cold, wet, and his insides burned and ached. Thoughts of crawling back in the water swam around his head. He wondered how long it would take to drown and feel the comfort he once felt...but before he went back he wanted to know. Where am I?
His forehead and right side of his face were covered in sand. His sopping wet clothes and untamed hair made him look like some shaggy dog. If there were others he didn't think of them. He only stared out into the beach in a daze wondering if there was a reason to stay here. If he was even suppose to be here because not existing sounded better than stay here alone.
